This pear and oat slice recipe is a great oat slice for lunchboxes. Try this healthy refined sugar free pear slice with rice malt syrup as a healthy afternoon snack recipe.
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups oats
1/2 cup plain flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup oat milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup rice malt syurp
1 small Pear, peeled, cored and fine diced
2 tablespoons maple syrup, to serve
Method
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a slice pan
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients
In a medium sized jug, whisk all the remaining ingredients except for the pear and maple syrup
Pour the liquid into the bowl and stir to combine. Stir through pears
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until cooked when tested
Remove from oven and brush with maple syrup while warm. Cool completely before cutting into slices
