Ingredients
2 teaspoons oil
1kg of Diced Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Seafood or Vegetables
Passage to India Butter Chicken Simmer Sauce
500g (2 cups) of Basmati Rice
Optional: 150ml Cream
Method
Heat two teaspoons of oil in medium saucepan
Add your choice of diced meat, seafood or vegetables and cook on high until sealed
Pour Butter Chicken simmer sauce into pan. Stir contents, cover pan with lid and reduce heat to SIMMER
Cook on SIMMER until fully cooked and tender
Serve on a bed of steamed Basmati rice
Tips & Hints
Chicken is ideal to cook with this sauce, however the subtle flavours also complement other meats, seafoods and vegetables. The flavours of tomato cream, yoghurt and just a hint of butter makes this sauce a popular choice for dinners.
