This easy Japanese Katsu recipe is ideal for the whole family. Have dinner on the table for the family in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
1/3 cup diced onion
Passage to Asian Katsu Curry Sauce
200ml water
1 cup diced carrot & potato
4 Chicken Schnitzels
1/3 cup green beans
2 cups steamed rice
Method
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok, toss in onion and saute until slightly coloured
Add Katsu Curry sauce with 200ml water
Add diced potatoes & carrot. Simmer for 10 mins
Cook chicken schnitzels in a separate pan
Once potatoes are tender, add green beans and remove sauce from heat
Sliced cooked schnitzels into lengths and place on a bed of rice. Pour sauce & vegetables over the top to serve
