1 green apple (cut into quarters with the skin and seeds included)

Pinch cinnamon

Method
Combine the almond milk and apple into your Vitamix container and secure the lid. Select variable 1
Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to variable 10 and then to high
Blend for 30 seconds then pour the combined mix into a small pot along with the LSA and cinnamon
Cook porridge over a low heat for a few minutes until heated through and thickened
Serve topped with fresh fruit I like mine with blueberries, banana flaked almonds and extra almond milk and a little honey
Tips & Hints
Apple adds sweetness and is high in pectin fibre that helps keep you fuller for longer as well as contains a mineral called boron that helps strengthen your bones and keep you alert. LSA can help reduce cholesterol and fight diabetes by lowering blood sugar levels because of its high fiber and high omega 3 content. A touch of cinnamon can help stabilize blood sugar levels.
