Prawn Spaghettini with Garlic, Chilli & Basil

Prawn Spaghettini with Garlic, Chilli & Basil
Ingredients
200g spaghettini
2 tablespoons olive oil
50g butter
12 large prawns, shelled and deveined
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
2 tablespoons white wine
1/2 cup basil leaves
Method
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling water, stirring occasionally for 8 minutes or until al dente
Whilst the pasta is cooking, heat butter and oil in a large frying pan on high heat and sear the prawns on each side for 1 minute
Add the garlic and chilli to the prawns
Deglaze with wine for a minute before adding the drained pasta to the pan
Mix in the basil leaves then season with salt and pepper
Serve with salad
