This delicious white chocolate ice cream slice looks spectacular and is perfect for a mid week celebration.
White Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream Slice
Ingredients
200g CADBURY White Chocolate Melts
395g can sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
3 x 150g packets Classic OREO
2 1/2 cups cream
Strawberry or Raspberry Sauce, if desired, to serve
Method
Combine the white chocolate, condensed milk and vanilla in a small saucepan and gently heat until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Transfer mixture to a freezer proof bowl and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes
Line a 28cm x 18cm pan with baking paper. Arrange approx.19 of the OREO evenly over the base of the pan. (Some need to be halved for edges)
Beat the white chocolate mixture using an electric mixer until smooth. Add the cream and beat until soft peaks form. Spoon the mixture over the base then top with a layer of remaining OREO, cover and freeze for 4 hours or overnight
To serve: Remove from the tin and allow to stand 10-15 minutes to soften a little before slicing
