This quinoa porridge recipe is a delightul winter brunch or breakfast idea. Add banana and pecan for a tasty, easy breakfast recipe idea.
Ingredients
3 cups Vitasoy Soy Milky Vanilla
1/2 cup quinoa seeds
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 banana, sliced
1 tbsp chopped pecans
1/4 cup golden syrup or maple syrup
Method
heat 21/2 cups Vitasoy Soy Milky Vanilla over medium-high heat until almost boiling. Turn heat down to medium low and add quinoa and brown sugar
Stir continuously for 25-30 mins until all Vitasoy Soy Milky Vanilla is absorbed. Stir through cinnamon. Set aside
Place golden syrup into a saucepan and warm through over low heat. Add banana slices and pecans and toss gently until banana and pecans are coated in syrup and warmed through. Serve porridge evenly into bowls and top with pecan and banana. Add extra Vitasoy Soy Milky Vanilla to serve
