Our delicious French Toast makes a great weekday breakfast or an easy dish to prepare for a weekend brunch. You can serve with fresh fruit and berries.
French Toast with Jam and Maple Syrup
Ingredients
Bakers Delight Chia & Fruit Loaf
3 eggs
1/2 cup (125ml) milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Salt (to taste)
4 slices Chia & Fruit Bread
Butter or oil for cooking
Maple syrup
1/2 cup berry jam
Method
Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon and salt together in a bowl
Heat butter or oil in a large frying pan on med heat
Dip each piece of bread in egg mixture and gently place in heated pan
Cook for about 2 - 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown
Serve immediately with jam and maple syrup
Tips & Hints
You can also keep in a warm oven until ready to serve.
