Nuts make the best dairy free milk you'll ever taste. Add a few sesame seeds for added calcium.You can strain the almond milk for a smoother texture and use the pulp for making healthy cookies or as a base for your morning porridge.

Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)


Method

  1. Combine ingredients in your Vitamix container and secure the lid Select variable 1
  2. Turn the machine on and quickly increase speed to variable 10 and then to high
  3. Blend for 1 minute
  4. You can choose to serve as is or strain the pulp for smoother milk


Tips & Hints

  1. Add 1/4 cup sesame seeds for added calcium
