Steamed Fruit Compote

Ingredients
300g mixed dried fruit
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 cup hot water
1 cinnamon stick
Method
Put sugar, water and cinnamon stick in a saucepan and bring to the boil (on high heat)
Place fruit in the solid steamer tray. Pour over the hot syrup and steam (100°C) for 20 minutes until softened
Serve with yoghurt and honey or porridge
