These Lactose Free Cheesy Hawaiian Pizza Scrolls are a fun, easy snack or lunchbox idea. Packed with ham, pineapple and melty cheese – all the classic flavours, minus the lactose!
Ingredients
1 sheet of puff pastry, just thawed
2 tbsp pizza sauce
1 cup Perfect Italiano Perfect Pizza Lactose Free cheese
⅓ cup diced ham
⅓ cup diced red capsicum
⅓ cup diced drained canned pineapple
½ teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Spread pizza sauce over the puff pastry, leaving a 1cm border.
Sprinkle pizza cheese evenly over the top. Scatter over ham, capsicum, pineapple, and Italian herbs.
Roll the pastry tightly into a log and slice into 2cm thick pieces. Place the slices onto the prepared tray leaving space between rolls.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Stand for a few minutes to firm up and serve warm as a perfect party snack.
Tips & Hints
Make double quantity for a party, or cut slightly thinner to make a few extra.
Freeze cooked rolls up to 1 month. Place frozen rolls into lunch boxes to be ready to eat in a few hours.
