A key component of so many Mexican dishes, this Tomato Salsa recipe is a family staple that you can whip up in 15 minutes. Reduce the chili if making this for kids, or add more chili for extra heat!
Ingredients
2 x 400g cans Ardmona Chopped Tomatoes
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 jalapeno or green chili, deseeded, finely chopped
2 tbs lime or lemon juice
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
Method
Drain tomatoes in a sieve over a bowl. Discard juice
Combine drained tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili, lime or lemon juice, cumin and sugar in a bowl. Stir through coriander. Season to taste and serve
