This smoothie bowl is a great summer breakfast, incorporating the goodness of oats, chia seeds and fruit in a filling bowl. Quick and easy to whip up you can have a healthy breakfast on the table in no time!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (50g) wholegrain rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste


Method

  1. This recipe uses the Breville Boss To Go - the Personal Blender that pulverises whole fruits and vegetables, nuts and leafy greens...
  2. Combine oats, chia and orange juice in a bowl, and cover in the fridge overnight to soak
  3. Place oat mixture and remaining ingredients into tumbler and secure blades. Lock into motor base and pulse repeatedly until mix combines. Blend for another 20-30 seconds or until just smooth


To Serve

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pink lady apple, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon crimson raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachio nuts
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut


Method

  1. Use a spatula to scoop into a bowl, and serve topped with apple, pistachios, raisins and coconut
