Ingredients

  • 16 rashers shortcut bacon
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ZOOSH Hey Ho Free Range Egg Garlic Aioli
  • 2 corn cobs, kernels removed
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • Tabasco sauce, to taste
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 bread rolls, split and toasted
  • 2/3 cup ZOOSH Hey Ho Free Range Egg Garlic Aioli, extra
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Potato crisps, for serving


Method

  1. BRUSH the bacon with maple syrup, place on a greased baking tray and bake in a very hot oven 220°C, turning once, for 10 - 15 minutes or until crisp. Keep warm
  2. COMBINE the chicken with the breadcrumbs, aioli, corn, onion, Tabasco and seasonings. Shape into 8 patties. Fry, chargrill or barbeque for 4 -5 minutes on each side, or until cooked. Assemble burgers in rolls with extra aioli, lettuce and maple bacon. Serve immediately with potato crisps
