Support the brands that support Foodbank Australian. This easy vanilla milk pudding recipe was made using Devondale Long Life Milk.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Devondale Full Cream Long Life Milk
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardomom
  • 1/4 cup pistachios, roughly chopped
  • Honey, to serve


Method

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of milk and the rice flour to make a paste
  2. In a medium saucepan, bring the remaining milk and sugar to a boil, remove from the heat and stir in the flour paste. Add remaining ingredients except for pistachios and honey
  3. Place saucepan back onto a medium heat and stir until it boils and thickens. Cook for 2 more minutes, continuing to stir
  4. Pour into 4 small glasses, cover with glad wrap and place in fridge to set for up to 2 hours, or overnight
  5. Serve puddings sprinkled with chopped pistachios and drizzled with honey
