This super easy and extra delicious white cheese cheddar sauce recipe makes for the perfect finishing touch for steamed vegetables, lasagne and in pasta bakes.
Ingredients
20g butter
1/4 cup flour
500ml milk
1/4 cup grated cheddar
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
Method
Combine butter, flour and milk in a saucepan and bring to the boil, whisking continuously until mixture thickens. Simmer for 1 minute
Stir in the cheddar and parmesan until melted and smooth
Serve sauce over steamed vegetables, in lasagna or pasta bakes
