This delicious pork cutlet recipe makes for a perfect family dinner idea. Topped with a delicious avocado salsa this recipe will become a weekly favourite for the family.
Ingredients
1/4 cup miso paste
2 tbs maple syrup
2 tbs rice wine vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbs kecap manis
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 avocado, finely chopped
1 mango, finely chopped
1 tbs finely chopped red onion
1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, coarsely chopped
4 pork cutlets, bone in

Method
Combine miso, maple syrup, vinegar, brown sugar, kecap manis and wasabi in a bowl. Set glaze aside
Combine avocado, mango, onion and coriander in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Set salsa aside
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook pork for 5 minutes. Turn and cook for 4 minutes or until cooked to your liking (see note). Brush pork with glaze and cook for 30 seconds. Turn and repeat for other side of pork
Transfer pork to a plate and set aside for 2 minutes to rest. Top pork with salsa and serve with lime wedges
Tips & Hints
You should be able to cook the pork without oil but you can add some if you find the meat is sticking.
