Mild Mince Curry

Ingredients

  • 900g (approx) of minced Beef, Chicken or Pork
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • Passage to India Mild Mince Curry Simmer Sauce
  • 500g (2 Cups) Basmati Rice
  • Optional: 4 tablespoons cream


Method

  1. Sear meat in a hot, oiled pan for 2 minutes. Keep simmering on medium heat until the mince is almost dry
  2. Add the peas, then the simmer sauce and stir until bubbling
  3. Turn heat down to low and simmer for 5 min or until meat is fully cooked
  4. Serve with steamed basmati rice
  5. Optional: Stir in 4 tablespoons of cream just before serving for an extra smooth flavour


Tips & Hints

  1. For an old-fashioned twist, try using sausages. Simply pan fry sausages until fully cooked, cut them into bite sized pieces, add simmer sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
