Everyone loves the mild yet irresistible flavours of a good chicken satay sauce. It's an exotic and world-famous far Eastern flavour experience, made from a delicious blend of traditional spices.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 600g sliced chicken breast pieces
  • 1 cup sliced vegetables - carrot, onion, capsicum, spring onion
  • 1 packet Passage to Asia Satay Chicken Stir-Fry Sauce
  • 2 cups of steamed Jasmine Rice to serve
  • Crushed peanuts and herbs for garnish (optional)


Method

  1. Heat oil in a wok. Add ½ chicken and cook on high until sealed then set aside
  2. Add second portion of chicken, and cook until sealed, then add vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
  3. Add first batch of cooked chicken, pour in satay sauce and stir fry for 3-5 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked
  4. Serve immediately on a bed of steamed Jasmine rice
  5. Top with crushed peanuts and herbs if using
