Nutella Breakfast Bites are an easy make-ahead breakfast or snack. Rolled from oats, almonds, coconut and protein powder, then served with a spoon of Nutella® for a satisfying, energy-boosting bite.
Ingredients
¾ cup ground almonds
½ cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder (we chose chocolate)
¼ cup apple butter (or apple sauce)
¼ cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
¼ cup rolled oats
3 tbsp pure maple syrup
1⁄2 tsp ground cinnamon
5g (1 tsp) Nutella® per bite
Method
Place almonds, protein powder, apple butter or sauce, coconut, oats, maple syrup and cinnamon into a food processor. Pulse until mixed.
Roll mixture into 16 little bite-sized balls.
Serve each breakfast bite with 1 teaspoon of Nutella®. We love them with fresh fruit or a cold glass of milk.
