Kansas BBQ Chicken Breast is juicy, smoky and full of flavour. Seasoned chicken breasts are grilled hot, glazed with BBQ sauce and finished on the BBQ for a perfectly caramelised result.
Ingredients
1 x Smokin South Kansas
2 x Free range chicken skinless breasts
Extra virgin olive oil
BBQ sauce of your liking
Salt
Method
Lightly oil your chicken breasts then cover liberally on both sides with SS Texan. Let sit for 10 minutes, longer if you can.
Get your BBQ hot.Grill your chicken breasts on both sides getting some nice colour. Once the internal temperature is 70c lightly brush one side of both chicken breasts with the BBQ sauce, close the lid on your BBQ and cook for a further 3-5 minutes or until the internal temperature is 73c (see tips and tools at footer of recipe).
Take off the bbq and let rest for 3-5 minutes, salt, carve and serve.
