Ingredients
- 1 x Street Kitchen, Moroccan Tajine Kit, including: Moroccan Tajine Sauce and Moroccan Tajine Spice Rub
- 800g chicken
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ΒΌ cup water
- Warm rice, roasted pine nuts and/or micro herbs for serving
Method
- Apply Moroccan Tajine Spice Rub to the chicken, ensuring it is fully coated.
- In a large non-stick pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat. When the oil is hot, add the seasoned chicken and sear.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a pot. Add Moroccan Tajine Sauce and water. Reduce heat to low, cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir occasionally until the meat is fully cooked.
- Serve with warm rice and garnish with roasted pine nuts and micro herbs.
Tips & Hints
- For extra flavour, serve with lemon wedges.
- Also delicious with lamb or vegetables.
