3 Dipping Sauces for Prawns
Ingredients:
Mayonnaise
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
Coriander, Ginger and Citrus Sauce
Roasted Capsicum Aioli
Method:
Mayonnaise
  1. Combine the yolks and vinegar in a small food processor bowl and pulse well to combine
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan until very hot. With the motor running, add the butter to the processor in a slow, steady stream
  3. For variations, add desired ingredients to the processor and blend briefly to combine
  4. Serve warm or cold as a dipping sauce with prawns or seafood
Tips & Hints:
  • Makes 1 - 1 ½ cups of each sauce. Sauces can be made a day ahead and refrigerated until required. Stir gently to combine before spooning into serving dishes. For breakfast with a twist, try serving your favourite dipping sauce variation with poached eggs!
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
  1. Make mayonnaise as per instructions. Once thickened and smooth add mustard and honey. Process until thoroughly mixed
Coriander, Ginger and Citrus Sauce
  1. Make mayonnaise as per instructions. Once thickened and smooth add, coriander, ginger, orange and lime rind. Season with salt and pepper and process until thoroughly mixed
Roasted Capsicum Aioli
  1. Make mayonnaise as per instructions. Once thickened and smooth add, capsicum and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and process until thoroughly mixed

Haven’t tried these dipping sauced yet, but definitely will. For those ladies (Tracey & Kim) who are confused by the reference to “a quantity of mayonnaise”, it’s really so straightforward. Simply refer to the mayonnaise ingredients and make it as per the simple instructions and voila you have your “quantity of mayonnaise”.

I can’t say I have made these because how much is 1 quantity of mayonnaise????? You lost me at attempting these because ethers is no mention of how much a quantity is
