With its deliciously sweet and very versatile flavour, this classic Japanese sauce can be used in a stir-fry or as a basting sauce for grilled meat and seafood. 'Teri' means 'lustre' in Japanese, which describes the sauce's shiny gloss.

Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a wok
  2. Add sliced chicken & cook on high until cooked, then add vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
  3. Pour stir-fry sauce into wok and toss through
  4. Reduce heat to low & stir for 2-3 minutes, or until meat is fully cooked
  5. Serve immediately on a bed of steamed rice
Tips & Hints:
  • Use as a basting sauce for chicken, beef, pork or seafood, cook on a barbeque or grill. Serve with sticky rice, salad and Japanese pickles.
