  1. Preheat oven to 160°C on fan forced function
  2. In a small saucepan: combine the golden syrup, brown sugar, butter and melt together
  3. In a larger bowl, mix in all the dry ingredients Then add this mixture to the sugar mixture
  4. Mix well and transfer into a lined lamington tray Flatten firmly into the tray with the back of a spoon
  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown
  6. Leave to cool in the tray for 5 minutes before cutting into even slices
