Chocolate Cake
  1. Grease an 18cm round spring form pan and line the base and side with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 160°C on the traditional cooking function
  2. In a saucepan add the butter, water, chocolate and brown sugar. Melt together on a low heat. Stir until mixture is smooth. Set aside to cool
  3. In a mixing bowl sift the flours and cocoa powder together. Add the chocolate mixture and combine. Then add the almond meal
  4. Add in the beaten egg. When almost combined, add the Turkish Delight
  5. Bake in the middle of the oven for 50 minutes or until firm in the middle. Set aside to cool
  6. Pour the icing over chocolate cake. Allow to set (around 20 minutes). Garnish with cherries and serve
Icing

This is a very flat cake, disaster! After 2 attempts I would advise against using this recipe, even though it has a nice rich chocolate flavour.
