Satay Beef stir fry

This recipe is satay beef and it is stir fried so the mandate is achieved - however, the rnd resulting flavour is not the best. The peanut is overpowering - I know satay is peanut flavoured, but not so much in your face. It is supposed to be subtle. Also, as I understand the term "stir Fry" I had expected there to be an oriental dimension the the finished meal. I did notice that there were simply no oriental sauces used (and theredore no salt in the finish) but somehow talked myself into thinking that the recipe creator had considered this and the asian flavour would appear by magic. The meal was edible and we did not spit it out, but the recipe can be improved from the perspective of our humble taste. But hey, everyone is different and we all have a different opinion of what something should taste like. This recipe tasted like Satay Beef, but we did not enjoy it as much as we would have liked . In the end we made adjustments by adding a lot more food acid and some asian influences -0 and half saved to meal. Soee, but thanks for the reipe - We are still looking for our goal.
