These easy pie maker pizzas are a great lunch box idea. Make Hawaiian ham and pineapple pizzas or prosciutto and black olive pizzas, or try using your own toppings. These pizzas are also freezer friendly, see the tips below for how to freeze.

Perfect Pie Maker Pizzas
Ingredients:

Prosciutto and Black Olive Pie Maker Pizza
Hawaiian Pie Maker Pizza
Method:
Pizza Dough
  1. Place flour, yeast and salt in a bowl and mix
  2. Gradually add the water and olive oil then knead by hand for 7-10 minutes until the dough is smooth
  3. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with cling wrap. Set aside in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes to an hour until it doubles in volume
  4. Knead dough gently for a few minutes to remove some air
  5. Divide dough in two portions. Freeze one half and use the other to make pie maker
Tips & Hints:
  • Flatten out remaining pizza dough to form a disc. Wrap in cling film and place into a sealed container. Label and freeze for up to two months. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight before using.
Prosciutto and Black Olive Pie Maker Pizza
  1. Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to 5mm thick. Using the lid cutter of the pie maker cut 12 rounds
  2. Lightly grease the pie holes in the pie maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions to preheat
  3. Place one dough round into each of the holes, top with two teaspoons of the pizza sauce, a sprinkling of Perfect Pizza cheese
  4. Add prosciutto and black olives and top with more Perfect Pizza cheese
  5. Close pie maker lid and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the pizza base is cooked and the top golden. Repeat with remaining dough, cheese and pizza toppings
  6. Serve warm

Tips & Hints:
  • These pizzas are an ideal lunch box filler. Once cooked, cool and wrap individually or pack into containers. Freeze for up to one month. For lunch box, defrost in fridge overnight. Or reheat in pie maker for 3 minutes.
