Creamy Porridge With Banana And Cranberry
  1. Place oats and cold water in a saucepan. Stir and stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Place saucepan over a medium heat, add the milk and stir occasionally until the porridge comes to the boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir constantly for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Serve in heated bowls.
  5. Slice the bananas and arrange banana evenly over porridge.
  6. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Scatter the cranberries over the top of the porridge.
  8. Serve with skim or reduced fat milk.
Tips & Hints:
  • Banana, ground nutmeg and dried berry mix make a great topping.
