Sausage and Rice Bake
Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Preheat oven 180°C
  2. Heat oil in a large oven-proof frypan over medium-high heat. Fry the sausages, breaking up with a wooden spoon until lightly browned. Add chorizo and fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add onion, celery and all-purpose seasoning, and cook until vegetables are soft
  4. Pour the soup, stock and rice into the frypan and stir to combine. Cover with a lid or tightly with foil and bake for 40 mins
  5. Remove from oven and rest for 10 minutes covered
  6. Stir through spinach
  7. Serve with a side salad of mixed leaves
Tips & Hints:
  • Adding mushroom soup adds a creaminess and depth of flavour to the rice

I did it in my pressure cooker and cooked to perfection but added sour cream and next time would add sun dried tomatoes

It was too salty. What caused it. I followed the recipe but found it was far too salty. Do you think it was the chorizo or the chicken stock?dJ
