Texas Style BBQ Beef Ribs
Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Sprinkle and rub the Texas Style BBQ seasoning sachet evenly all over the ribs, including the ends. If time permits, leave for 30 minutes while setting up the BBQ grill
  2. Arrange BBQ grill racks so that the ribs will be positioned not directly over the heat source (indirect heat)
  3. Preheat 200°C with the lid down
  4. Arrange a metal wire rack inside a large foil tray and place ribs on top, meat side up. Place into BBQ and close the lid. Cook 1 - 1½ hours or until ribs form a thick dark crust across the top of the meat
  5. Brush ribs with half of the finishing sauce. Close lid and cook for a further 30 - 40 minutes brushing 2 more times with sauce until crust is sticky and glossy
  6. Remove from heat and rest on a board for 15 minutes. Use a sharp knife to cut between the bones. Serve with remaining finishing sauce
Tips & Hints:
  • Cooking times will vary based on the thickness, size, and shape of your ribs.
