Make the best, healthy, cafe style chai latte with this easy recipe. An enjoyable tea for any time of the day with the beautiful aroma and taste of nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger to entice the senses.

Homemade Chai Latte
Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Combine all the spices to create a Chai Latte Mix. At this stage mix can be stored for up to a month in a sealed jar
  2. Heat milk in a small saucepan or microwave until just below boiling point. Turn off heat, add spice mix and allow to infuse until for 3-5 minutes. Stir in honey and strain out spices. Pour into tea cups and serve immediately
Tips & Hints:
  • For a larger batch to make 8 serves combine: 2 tablespoons black tea leaves 8 cardamom pods, bruised 1 cinnamon stick, roughly crushed 12 cloves 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 2 teaspoons ground ginger Make this mix into a homemade gift by wrapping individual serves into bundles of muslin and tieing with string - these can be dropped straight into the saucepan!
