Chocolate Banana Madeleines
  1. Stir together the butter, buttermilk, egg and banana. Add the ground nuts and sifted dry ingredients and mix well
  2. Spoon a heaped teaspoon of mixture into each well greased madeleine pan
  3. Bake in a moderate oven 180 C for 10-15 minutes or until cooked when tested
  4. Turn out and allow to cool completely on a wire rack before drizzling with melted chocolate. Allow chocolate to firm before serving
