Chocolate Walnut Brownies
Ingredients:
Method:
- Preheat the oven 150ºC fan-forced. Grease and line the base and sides of a 20cm square cake pan.
- Whisk the eggs and milk together in a large mixing bowl. Add cooled melted butter and whisk until well combined .
- Add Chocolate Cake Mix and whisk until it forms a smooth batter. Pour in syrup and continue whisking until batter is smooth and slightly loose.
- Follow packet instructions to melt chocolate. Add to cake batter along with chopped walnuts. Mix well and spoon into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a crust forms on top.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool in pan. Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Remove brownie from pan and cut into 12 squares. Dust with cocoa powder just before serving.
Tips & Hints:
- The cooked brownie will look a little soft, but will firm on cooling
