Method:
Chocolate Semi - Freddo with Tutti Frutti Marshmallows
- Grease a 30cm loaf tin and line with cling film
- Melt chocolate in a heat proof bowl sitting on a saucepan of simmering water
- In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until it is pale and fluffy
- Add the melted chocolate and continue to beat until combine
- Stir in the marshmallows and Frangelico. Set aside
- In another mixing bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peak forms
- Fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture followed by the whipped cream
- Pour the semi-freddo into the lined tin and place in the freezer overnight
- To serve, transfer the semi-freddo to the fridge 30 minutes before serving
