Fast Family Chicken Pie
  1. Arrange oven shelf to the lower middle position in the oven. Preheat oven 200°C/180°C (fan forced)
  2. Place pastry case onto a metal baking tray and bake for 5 minutes; remove and set aside
  3. Whisk together eggs, cream, green onions, parsley and ¾ of the Perfect Melt cheese and mix well. Stir though chopped chicken
  4. Carefully pour mixture into pastry case and smooth the surface. Top with remaining cheese
  5. Bake 20-25 minutes or until pastry is golden and eggs are set. Cheese should be melted and golden brown. Remove and stand 5 minutes
  6. Cut into wedges and serve with green salad
Tips & Hints:
  • Ready-made shortcrust pastry cases are available from the freezer section at most supermarkets

Omg, my children are 100% fuse pots when it comes to food, believe me this is true. Yeah it's a miracle homemade chicken pie made with eggs, they dont like eggs haha, fuled them. Haven't told them theres egg in it mind. But replies from them all " love this mum when are you making it again". So it's going down as a favourite in our house. Thank you you ingenious humans
Needs longer cooking time

It seems to be only me however at 25min it was still liquid. Took 45 minutes to be solid. Simple and tasty but not quick for me
