The world famous Daiquiri made easy. Use your Melon & get busy blending this summer! This recipe uses the KitchenAid Artisan Diamond Blender.

Melon Daiquiri

Ingredients:

About 10 ice cubes

1 cup (150g) peeled and diced rockmelon

1 cup (150g) peeled and diced honey dew melon

120ml lime juice

240ml white rum (Bacardi)

20ml orange liqueur

1 tablespoon castor sugar

Method:

For best results use the KitchenAid Artisan Diamond Blender
Place ice cubes into the glass jar of the blender and cover. Select the symbol for ice crushing, process until ice is roughly chopped
Add fruit, lime juice, rum, orange liqueur and sugar
Cover and select the liquefy pad. Process until just smooth
Serve immediately in your favourite cocktail glasses

Tips & Hints:

Makes 4. The ingredient cap (situated in the cover of the blender) is excellent for measuring liquid ingredients.
