Pomegranate Chicken
Ingredients:
Pomegranate Chicken
Spiced Rice
Method:
Pomegranate Chicken
  1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, add sliced onions and sauté for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Add diced chicken and sauté for 3–4 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Add Persian Pomegranate Sauce and cook on low heat for 30 minutes or until meat is fully cooked, stirring occasionally.
  4. Garnish with crushed walnuts and fresh pomegranate.
Spiced Rice
  1. Rinse the Basmati rice until the water runs clear.
  2. In a saucepan, soak the rice for 10 minutes, then bring to the boil and add salt to taste.
  3. Once the rice is cooked, remove excess water, add the Persian Pomegranate Seasoning from the kit and mix well.
  4. Steam the rice for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with sliced almonds and serve with the Pomegranate Chicken.
Tips & Hints:
  • Serve with extra fresh pomegranate for added sweetness and texture.
  • Also delicious topped with fresh herbs such as parsley or coriander.
