We used white wonton wrappers which give the best result, but yellow wontons also work well. These crackers take little effort and look sensational next to a cheese platter!

Peppered Wonton Crackers
Ingredients:
Method:
  1. Arrange wonton wrappers on lightly buttered baking trays. Brush the top side of each wonton with butter and then sprinkle with pepper
  2. Bake at 180°C for 4-6 minutes or until crisp. Cool on a wire rack before storing in an airtight container until required
Tips & Hints:
  • We used white wonton wrappers which give the best result, but yellow wontons also work well. These crackers take little effort and look sensational next to a cheese platter!
  • They are also very cost effective compared to bought gourmet crackers. For a flavour variation try sesame or nigella seeds.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
