How to bulk cook boiled eggs

One of the best ways to cook lots of eggs is to steam them instead of boiling them. This way you don't have to wait for the whole pot to boil, and you're less likely to break any eggs. Follow these steps:

  1. Fill a large pot with 3cm of water and fit a steamer basket into pot. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Carefully place eggs in steamer basket. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and steam for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Use tongs to transfer eggs to a large bowl filled with ice water to stop the cooking process and let cool completely.
  4. Store in the fridge.
