Chocolate Donuts
Ingredients:
Donut
Chocolate Glaze
Method:
Donut
  1. Preheat oven to 175C.
  2. In a medium sized bowl whisk the eggs and milk. Melt the butter and then whisk the butter into the eggs. Add the Lakanto Chocolate Cake Mix and whisk until it forms a smooth batter. Add the milk and bi carb soda until the batter is smooth and slightly loose.
  3. Spoon batter into a well greased donut pan (we used a silicone mini donut pan). Make sure you do not overfill and lose that all important hole!
  4. Bake 13-15 minutes or until done.
Chocolate Glaze
  1. Melt the chocolate in a water bath (place a smaller bowl with the chocolate in it, inside a larger bowl which you have filled with boiling water - the heat will gently melt the chocolate). Add Lakanto Bakers Classic Syrup to achieve the desired sweetness. Wait until it has cooled down a little.
  2. Dip the cooled donuts into the chocolate (double dip if you want a thicker glaze) and place in the fridge until the chocolate coating has set.
