Pear, Walnut and Cheddar Crumble

- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C
- To prepare the pears ready for stuffing, remove the core making a cavity to hold the stuffing. Take a small slice off the underside of the pears so they sit flat. Place onto a baking tray
- In a large bowl combine the oats, raisins, garlic, walnuts and cheddar cheese. Using clean hands work the melted butter through the dry ingredients and bring together
- Fill each pear half with the filling mounding up a little on the top
- Place in the pre-heated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, till lightly colored and soft
- Serve as a light lunch vegetarian option with a fresh salad or accompaniment to your favourite roast
