Cheat's Chilli Con Carne
Tomato Salsa
  1. Fry onion in a large oiled frying pan until soft
  2. Add mince, cook, stirring, until evenly browned
  3. Add chili, cook, stirring for 1 minute
  4. Stir in Mexican Tomato Salsa and kidney beans, simmer for 20 minutes or until thickened
  5. Serve with rice, sour cream and coriander leaves
Tips & Hints:
  • To make this recipe have a pre made batch of Ardmona's Tomato Salsa ready to go.
Tomato Salsa
  1. Drain tomatoes in a sieve over a bowl. Discard juice
  2. Combine drained tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili, lime or lemon juice, cumin and sugar in a bowl. Stir through coriander. Season to taste and serve
