Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken Strips
Ingredients:
Method:
- Combine melted butter, Dijon, and salt together in a large bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat evenly.
- Mix together Panko crumbs and Parmesan and place onto a shallow plate.
- Working in batches, dip chicken into panko Parmesan mixture, pressing crumb onto chicken. Place onto a clean dry plate or tray. Repeat with remaining chicken and crumb.
- Spray air fryer basket and chicken lightly with cooking spray. Place chicken in a single layer and cook for 8 minutes at 200֯ C. Turnover and cook a further 5-6 minutes. Cook in batches as necessary.
- Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and serve with lemon wedges and mayonnaise.
Tips & Hints:
- Substitute chicken with fish. Buy firm white fish fillets such as ling and cut into 4cm thick strips. Reduce cooking time 5-6 minutes, turning over halfway.
- Adjust cook times to suit your air fryer. Always follow manufacturer’s instruction.
- Depending on the size of your air fryer basket. Cook in batches of 4 or 5 chicken strips. Keep warm in a low 150°C oven while cooking the remaining chicken.
