How to freeze ham

If you have lots of leftover ham, don't let it go to waste. Ham will freeze well for up to four months if stored correctly. You can freeze it in blocks or in slices, follow the steps below.
How to store ham in the freezer
 
  1. Slice ham off the bone. Divide into smaller serving sizes.
  2. Wrap in in foil, followed by cling film. Place into a freezer bag or sealable container. Label and date.

  3. Freeze.

  4. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before using.
